Ms. Wallace
I have had the pleasure of teaching in Homewood at School District 153 for over 30 years! Throughout my tenure with the district, I have worked at both Willow and Churchill Elementary Schools, teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, and the reading intervention program.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana and my Masters in Education from Lewis University.
​
I was a Reading Specialist for 20 years at Willow School. I moved back to the classroom 4 years ago. I have enjoyed being back in the classroom building relationships with my students and their family.
​

I am a mom of two wonderful children. I have a son, Michael, who lives and works in Austin, Texas. He works for a company called Swayable. I also have a daughter, Kassie, who lives and works in Manhattan, New York. She works in Commercial Real Estate.

They both went through the Homewood Schools and HF High School.

I live in Plainfield with Dan. We like to golf. We enjoy playing golf at many different courses and I am in several leagues. I also like to shop, read, travel and try new restaurants.
